Tibetan carpet circa 1920 from ‘western Tibet ‘.. a similar carpet can be seen in a book Tibetan Rugs by Hallvard Kuloy described as being purchased in 1927 in Poo which was considered at the time to be in western Tibet although it falls into India and was described by a traveler in 1910 coming from south being the first village he found where the language was ‘entirely Tibetan’
