Often referred to simply as Rosanjin (1883-1952), his artistic name, a distinguished restraurateur is renowned as a ceramic artist as well as being accomplished in the skills of caligraphy and lacquer work. One of the great modern artist potters whom made functional wares for restaurants including his own restaurant in Tokyo. Rosanjin mastered most of the styles of Japanese pottery and adapting them into modern designs.

Many books have been published on Roasanjin and his works are often exhibited internationally .

Shugoro works are sculptural and often referred to as architectural in form and element. He received several commissions for large public sculptures and formed them following his philosophy of creating sculpture which interacts with its architectural environment.

Hasuda works can be seen in a number of museums.
